Tap... Tap... Tap...
A man with golden hair tapped his pen idly on his desk, while the other hand held a cigar which he idly smoked. Golden eyes were cast toward the doorway. 'Where the bloody hell are you Masahiro!' He muttered to himself. 'We can't slouch off on this case!'
'Do you not realize how sexy you are when you're mad at me, Tamotsu?' A soft, silky, seductive voice said in the blonde's ear. The owner of the voice placed his right hand over the blonde's pen-tapping hand, the left playing with his own dark salmon locks. 'So what's the lead that reopened the cold case?'
Hiroki Tamotsu, homicide detective, had been partnered with Seiichi Masahiro, since they both graduated the academy. They had started on the bottom rungs in homicide division, but quickly made their way up the ranks by working hard. Now they made up half of the elite task force. Any cases that were high profile, or suspected of having deeper roots, or had been cold cases far too long, came to them. Neither had gone to high school, both having circumstances in their lives that made them feel they needed to head straight into the police force. As such, they were the youngest detectives on the force.
'Damn you Seiichi! How many times do I have to tell you to get here on time!' Golden eyes glared at his partner's blue eyes, but the gaze softened almost immediately. He never was able to look into those baby blues and stay mad. 'And would you stop that! You're going to give the others the wrong idea about our relationship.'
Seiichi grinned as he sat on Hiroki's desk. He folded his arms, looking over the rim of his glasses, 'Stop what, darlin?' A mischievous smirk formed on his lips, accompanied by a mischievous glint in his eyes. 'I've no idea what you are referring to.' His shirt sleeves were rolled up, and his vest hung loosely open, and his tie was loosened, an appearance that he knew affected Hiro greatly. 'But do not make me ask again sweetheart... What is the new evidence.'
Hiro rolled his eyes and stuffed his cigar back in the corner of his mouth. 'You're going to hell, you know that?'
Seiichi's smirk only widened at that. 'Well if that's where I'm going, you're coming with me, babe.'
'Don't call me babe!' Thankfully they were hidden away in Hiroki's office, or it would have given their coworkers incentive to tease him further, as he was blushing. He reached for a folder that, just his luck, was under his partner's hindquarters. 'Move your ass.'
'What do you say?'
'Move your ass, NOW, dammit!'
'Wrong answer, sweets.'
'Oh fuck off, Seiichi.'
'Are you coming with me?' He teased, toying with the blonde's words.
'Oh for the love of--' Hiro trailed off and just shook his head. 'I can't believe I ever had a thing for you. You're such an asshole.'
Seiichi leaned over and whispered in his ear, 'You still do have a thing for me, sweets. That's part of why we live together.'
'Get over yourself! You know that there is more to it than that. And move your ass so I can show you the case evidence.'
Seiichi paused a moment, left eyebrow raised. 'Why does everyone keep saying that to me? And what the bloody hell do they mean?' He shrugged and then finally said, 'All right, as you wish.' He moved himself off Hiro's desk and pulled the chair in which the blonde sat away from the desk a bit. And then he sat on Hiro's lap, and reached for the case file. He read it as if this was perfectly normal positioning for people to be in.
'For heaven's sake!' Hiro cried out in desperation. At least, despite being slightly shorter, Hiro was slightly huskier in appearance, though both were equals in strength. But it meant Seiichi was a little on the light side for weight by comparison. Though neither were obviously burly men. Tall and slender but toned. They almost looked like twins in fact. So in reality, Seiichi sitting on him didn't physically cause him any trouble.
'Oh... I see.' Seiichi said, face serious. The case they were working on was the case of Chihiro Masahiro, Seiichi's mother. Normally, it'd be a conflict of interest for Seiichi to work this case, but the murder had happened ten years ago, and was Seiichi's reason for joining the academy. It had gone cold when the DNA that they had had didn't come back to anyone in the database.
However, recently, the Chief had the case transferred to the task force, suspecting it was actually tied to darker connections. Only recently had Nokimaku gotten a police chief that wasn't human and homicide hadn't had vampire detectives in a while, as a disagreement had kept the 'bloodsuckers' away. At least from homicide. 'I see... And the detectives listened to the M.E. who said the killer couldn't possibly have been female,' he replied, the sound being so soft and faint it would be easily missed by those who didn't have heightened senses. He scanned the case file for a moment, and then sighed. 'All right. Let's go talk to the husband.' He set the case file back on Hiro's desk and then stood up.
Hiro said, 'Masahiro, face me.' When his partner faced him, he stood up and rebuttoned the top two buttons of his shirt and tightened his tie. He the unrolled Seiichi's sleeves and smoothed them out. He straightened and buttoned Seiichi's vest, and then handed him his jacket. 'Good to go.' He then straightened his own appearance.
'You know, for being so worried about my flirting giving off the wrong impression, I have to wonder what impression you think dressing me gives.' He smirked as he grabbed the keys to their car that hung from a thumbtack in a bulletin board over Hiro's desk.
'I would hope people understand I'm only doing it so that people don't see how much of a slacker you are. And there is no way in hell that you are driving.' Hiro reached for the keys as they walked out the door of his office.
'Why not? I'm a perfectly good driver! And technically, she's MY car.'
'Yes but you know the rules. Driver picks the music, and your taste in music is horrendous.'
'Really? That's what this is about?' Seiichi rolled his eyes, and kept walking, refusing to give up the keys. 'You'll have to wrestle me for em. Or give me a big ol' kiss right here where everyone can see.'
'Like bloody hell I'm doing either of those.'
'Kiss him. Kiss him.' A few of the other detectives chanted.
'Oh hell no you oafs! Fine! Sei you can drive. But you'll pay.'
'Gladly darlin.' He winked seductively.
'You're hopeless. And don't you--'
'Hopeful actually.' Seiichi interrupted with a knowing but mischievous smirk.
Hiroki groaned... That was exactly what he DIDN'T want Seiichi to say. Bastard.

Traumfuge 2

The pelican and the sparrow
The prideful pelican converses with the extraordinarily small sparrow, and the mid-sized birds float around the water of the dock to watch the action of the bay, bystanders. The water rippled gentle with the wake of the humans' boats.
The sparrow on the bridge twitters at the pelican, but the pelican pays him no mind and rests in the sun. When the pelican swooped in it caused a great attention nearing on uproar, the birds all stared in silent apprehension before accepting his massive presence.
This is a show the pelican puts on. In reality, he wishes he wasn’t born so solitary, so different and large from all the other birds. While th

Once Again: Part Three
The Doctor looked at his old companion. Her blonde hair glowed from the light inside the room and her blue eyes stared at him, concentrating.
"I don't know." he replied back. "I don't know."
Rose sighed and turned her head, looking at the wall. She saw pictures of her and John, happily together, living a life that she didn't want. She heard the Doctor clear his throat.
"Maybe I should tell you what happened...to me?" he said, more of a question than a statement.
Rose blinked, but didn't say anything.
The Doctor sighed, ran his hand through his hair, and began.
"In the proper universe-" he stopped. "The other one, the one you were born i
